I don't know if it counts, but isn't there an extended version of Soft Cell's Tainted Love that includes a couple of lines from Where Did Our Love Go, by the Supremes?

I'm so surprised he didn't include that, but maybe Patrick was only curious about bits of a song in a whole cover, and Where Did Our Love Go was a whole verse and chorus

Two others come to my mind. Blue Öyster Cult's cover of the MC5's "Kick out the Jams" includes part of the 5's "Ramblin' Rose" during the guitar solo. And the Mighty Mighty Bosstones cover of Van Halen's "Ain't Talkin' 'bout Love" gets overlayed with "Nite Klub" by the Specials.

Billy Idol's cover of Velvet Underground's "Heroin" uses "Jesus died for somebody's sins but not mine" from Patti Smith's "Gloria" as the chorus.

JC Brooks and the Uptown Sound did a fantastic cover of "I Am Trying to Break Your Heart," by Wilco, that included a section of Theologians in the middle.

In Christian worship music people cover classic songs or hymns and throw in a chorus or bridge from another song ALLLL the time

I'm a white guy who grew up in the late 90s early aughties, so I love the shout outs😉 in Disturbed's cover of Shout David does in the choruses I think, like when he puts the line "your ice, ice, baby" in the middle of a chorus. Also, one of my favorite cover bands Punk Rock Factory just did a whole album of 90s covers, super solid album, and they cover the guitar solo from Sum 41's In Too Deep for their cover of C'est La Vie!
