Derrick Gee is an internet music personality who calls himself a “professional music fan.” He has been making short form videos for years but has just now released his first documentary. It’s a doc ostensibly about the electronic artist Fred Again, but it ends up being about a lot more. I sat down with Derrick to talk about his experience making the documentary, what he learned, and what’s next.
