Albums of 9/11 - Episode 3: Nickelback - Silver Side Up

Albums of 9/11 week continues with a band that is not going to be popular with the commenters who keep asking why I’m not covering the more obscure bands that released albums that day. But when picking the five albums to talk about this week I tried to go with the ones with the biggest cultural impact. And there is no denying the impact - for better or worse - that this album had. This took Nickelback from a band touring in small clubs, a band who was opening for Three Doors Down on the night of 9/11, to one of the biggest selling rock bands of the 21st century. People love to hate them, but hopefully you’ll still enjoy this video!
